Robin Hood Audition Results
Dear Robin Hood Auditioner:
Thank you for taking time to audition for CCT’s Robin Hood. All of us on the audition panel are grateful for the honor of your presence and the time you invested in being with us to make a memorable day of auditions!
As you know from the comments at the auditions, the Robin Hood script has its own unique framework and particular demands. Therefore, competition is keen — Especially when one considers that so many of you who auditioned were extremely talented!
We count you as among the talented! And we are also humbled by how many truly talented people there are in our area. We consider it a privilege that you took time and made preparations to be with us and present your best effort at auditions.
Be assured that your efforts and patience are most appreciated. All of us on the audition panel want to extend to you, in as personal a manner as this website permits, our own special thanks. Due to time constraints , we don’t have the ability to write to everyone personally. But we want each of you to know we gave your audition careful consideration.
Please know that many factors go into the final selection of a cast – and such factors have absolutely no bearing on your worth as a person or your talent as a performer. In fact, some factors that go into casting are simply beyond your (or our) control, regardless of the caliber of the audition: such factors as character types required by the script, and mundane matters such as age ranges needed for the show, stage space, heights of certain performers, the mix of individuals needed for certain scenes, etc.
It is very difficult to cast a show when so many talented people have tried out! Ultimately, there are a limited number of roles and we have to make the hard decision of who to cast where.
It has been an honor to have you at our auditions! Our next show will be Willy Wonka Jr. (ages 5-17). Please consider auditioning again for future shows!
